David Leon Woods was executed during the early hours of May 4th, 2007.

David Woods' funeral was held Monday 5/7/07 and was attended by at least 80 people, many of whom shared how David had touched their lives. Retired Church of the Brethren pastor and long-time death row visitor Wanda Callahan told the Parole Board she wished the churches she pastored were full of people like David Woods.
