The Indiana Information Center on the Abolition of Capital Punishment (IICACP) exists to expose the injustice associated with the application of the death penalty in Indiana. IICACP is open to anyone who is opposed to the death penalty.

On June 27, 2007 the Indiana Supreme Court reinstated Paul McManus' death sentence.
The post-conviction court had found that McManus was mentally retarded and so was legally ineligible for the death penalty. The Supreme Court held that McManus was not retarded and reversed the post-conviction court. Justices Boehm and Rucker dissented. |
